I need to just take a second and rave about The Sweetest Fiend by Raven Kennedy. Avon Books was so amazing and sent me a PR package of the ARC for it and I am OBSESSED with this. This is the first book in a long time that felt like it had actual flirting that made me kick my feet and swoon. I was smiling like a loon while reading this and I loved every second of it.

Not to diminish The Plated Prisoner series (I love it so much) but the writing growth between that series and this book is noticeable. To me this is just leaps and bounds improved and more refined from that series. This world was so well plotted, the magic so incredibly unique, and the characters so easy to get attached to. I just don't have a single negative thing to say about it. A Pied Piper retelling??? Seriously, so good, so unique, so amazing. If you haven't checked this out yet I absolutely recommend it, it releases September 22nd!!
